The 15 Invaluable Laws of Growth tells us, “If you have dreams, goals, or aspirations, you need to grow to achieve them. But if you’re like I was – and if you are like most people – you have one or more mistaken beliefs that create a gap that keeps you from growing and reaching your potential.”
I had several mistaken beliefs. I don’t know about you, but I was hard on myself about where I should be in my life. When you are hard on yourself, it’s difficult to move forward. My girlfriend and I now say I am right where I am supposed to be. Another one was comparing where I am in life to where others were in theirs. I have changed that mindset by affirming myself with, I am empowered and see unlimited possibilities when I don’t compare myself to others.
I encourage you to use the Law of Intentionality to bridge the gap in your personal and professional life by identifying your individual growth needs. Many different types of gaps can stand in the way- such as assumptions, knowledge, mistakes, expectations, or inspiration- that can limit success.
